The 2020/2021 ski and snowboard SEASON PASSES start at only $199.
Season Pass Holders will NOT be required to make an advance reservation to ski or ride on any given day. As a season pass holder, you will be able to ski every day that your pass is valid. If necessary, we may limit skier volume at our resort. Please note that any volume limitations put into place will not impact season pass holders.
All season passes purchased are non-refundable. If the ski area is unable to open at all due to COVID-19, all pass monies paid will be applied to the 2021/22 season. However, once we open and start operating, we will not be giving refunds in the event of a government mandated shut down. We are taking the risk and bearing the considerable expense of making the snow up front to prepare for the season. We understand that in order to take advantage of our best pricing options, you will also be taking the risk of purchasing a season pass in advance. If you are uncomfortable with this, we recommend waiting and purchasing daily lift tickets.
Please note that skiing and snowboarding is a healthy, outdoor activity with built-in social distancing, and that we plan to do everything possible to get open and stay open for the 2020/2021 season. There are many unknowns at this time, however, we do know that we will continue to focus on making and grooming quality snow to give you a first rate experience on some of best ski & snowboard terrain in the state.

We are proud to announce the installation of highest chairlift in Northern Michigan! A brand new Doppelmayr, triple chair is currently being installed for the 2016/2017 season.
The new chairlift will have a top elevation of 1561′ and will provide an incredible 360 degree view of the surrounding Manistee National Forest.
The new fixed-grip triple chairlift will better serve the North Peak complex. The chair will unload at the top of North Peak 15 vertical feet higher than the North Peak Quad Chair. This will allow easy access to both the green runs on the back side (Smiling Irishmen, Easy Street, Shelter) and the more advanced runs on the front side (Canyon, Lift Line, No. 1, Cruiser).
The new chairlift will increase our uphill capacity, which will reduce lift lines at the bottom of North Peak.
Caberfae Peaks is located in Northern Michigan’s snowbelt. Located in high elevation and the perfect distance from Lake Michigan, the “lake effect” snow machine manufactures 150 inches of annual snowfall at the Peaks, while setting a record this past season (2008/2009) at 226″
The terrain at Caberfae Peaks is very diverse. From gentle cruisers like the 3/4 of a mile run Smiling Irishman, to the thrilling steeps of Bullet & GG’s Ride, Caberfae Peaks boasts some of the state’s longest runs and biggest vertical drops. You can drive further north, but you won’t find bigger hills!
We fired up the snow machines around 4 pm yesterday and plan to run them non-stop as long as possible, which looks like Sunday morning.
Our snowmaking focus is all over the North Peak complex: Smiling Irishman, Shelter, Upper & Lower Easy Street, Ski Shop, Canyon, No. 1, RW and more.
We plan to reopen the slopes for the season on Sunday at 10 am. Please check back for hours, rates, lifts and trails.

NEW FOR THE 2015/2016:
The lower level of the Blackmer Day Lodge has been reconfigured. In an effort to provide more seating and better accommodate guests packing their lunches, picnic tables can no longer be reserved. We have built storage cubbies on the east wall, along with adding electrical outlets. Please store your gear in the cubbies, when you are out on the slopes. Also, all skis and boards must now be kept outside. We hope these changes will provide more seating and significantly improve everyone’s enjoyment at Caberfae Peaks!
December 4, 2015 – Slopes opened Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6
