Caberfae Peaks — December 29 Snow Report
The snowfall started yesterday at 1 pm and dropped a total of 7″ here at the Peaks. It has stopped snowing as of 7 am this morning, providing plenty of time to clear the roads. Pics will be posted shortly.
Today, we have a high of 29 degrees with flurries throughout the day with no additional accumulation.

Picture taken 12.23.07. The winter snowstorm has arrived. It started snowing at 2 pm today and we have over 1/2 foot of snow in the forecast!

12.16.07 - Picture taken of C. Strickland, shreddin’ some powder on Cruiser. As much as 7″ of snow has fallen in the last 48 hours. The conditions have been great and the forecast continues to look very winter-like. Picture once again provided by H. Cooley.

Open Slopes:
We currently have 22 open slopes and we are skiing & riding on up to a 62″ base! It’s been a great start to the winter. We have been making a ton of snow and hope to be turning the South Peak chair for the upcoming weekend. Stay tuned as we will keep you updated through our snow report

The temps were in the single digits last night and we were able to get some great production out of our snowguns! Today, we will be moving the majority of our snowmaking equipment over to South Peak, lining Charlie top to bottom.
As a result, we will have most of the North Peak complex open for the weekend, which means we will be skiing & riding on the following runs: Canyon, Smiling Irishman, No. 1, RW, Monty’s, Shelter, Hot Dog, Wild Cat, Easy Street, Ski Shop, Gum Drop, Candy Cane, Taffy, Bubble Gum, BB Boulevard, Cruiser and more!
