Snowmaking Improvements:

* 15 new fan gun snowmaking towers on Smiling Irishmen, Canyon, & Easy Street
* 2 new portable snowmaking fan guns
* 5 new air/water snowmaking guns
* Installed over 1000 feet of snowmaking pipe, along with several electrical upgrades, creating more snowmaking capacity

Terrain Expansion:

* Significantly widened the upper 1/2 of the Smiling Irishmen ski trail, making the green run 50% wider and more enjoyable to ski and ride
* Widened the bottom corner of Smiling Irishmen, allowing for more skiable terrain, especially in the popular novice area just above the top chairlift terminals of Shelter & Clubhouse chairs

Terrain Park Features:

* Addition of two more boxes : 24′ Flat Down Box & C Box

Steals & Deals:

* Children 17 and under now Sleep & Ski FREE Monday thru Thursday nights, with two paying adults. Some holiday exclusions apply.
* Season pass reciprocal with Shanty Creek Resorts, including $10 Sunday thru Thursday lift tickets and $25 Friday & Saturday lift tickets. Some holiday exclusions apply.

First Runs of the 2009.2010 Ski & Snowboard Season!

DJ & Bryan waited at the North Peak Chair for over an hour, so that they could get first tracks of the 2009.2010 season. Congrats Fellas!

WEB CAM IS LIVE

The WEB CAM is up and running! It is programmed to take a picture every 60 seconds, rotating between a view of Canyon, a view of both North & South Peak, and then a close up of the top of South Peak. Be sure to refresh the page to see the new picture.

The lake effect snow kicked in over the weekend of February 20 - 22 and dumped over 2 feet of snow at Caberfae Peaks. Skiers and boarders had some of the best powder in years to enjoy. Is this a great winter for skiing and boarding, or what? And still more than a month to go…….
